The cook prepares and plates dishes in a timely, coordinated manner while supporting kitchen organization, food safety, inventory, and cleaning. The role contributes to a consistent dining experience for restaurant patrons.

What you'll do

• Set up kitchen tools and equipment
• prepare and present food
• plate dishes
• supervise and delegate tasks to team members
• maintain inventory and restock as needed
• follow food safety regulations
• participate in opening, closing, and cleaning procedures
• maintain mise en place and a sanitary kitchen.

Why this role

The restaurant is always closed Mondays. Listed hours vary by availability: Tuesday–Thursday, 2–10 p.m.; Friday, 2–11 p.m.; Saturday, noon–11 p.m.; Sunday, noon–10 p.m. Previous similar experience is preferred; a ServSafe or Food Handler certification is listed.
