Lead Veterinary Technician

The Lead Veterinary Technician role is onsite in Chapel Hill, NC, with compensation of $18–$28 per hour. The role contributes to safe, effective veterinary care through technical skills, equipment readiness, and coordination with the clinical team.

What you'll do

• Assist veterinarians with animal care
• restrain animals when needed
• stock examination and surgery rooms
• sterilize tools and maintain equipment
• perform technical tasks including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia administration and monitoring, dental prophylaxis, radiography, medication administration, and laboratory analysis
• educate clients and update patient files.
