Maritime Outbound Documentation Coordinator

Job overview

The Maritime Outbound Documentation Coordinator is an onsite role in Dallas, TX. Compensation is $18–$21 per hour. The position supports HMM America Shipping Agency’s export documentation and customer service operations within its global shipping and logistics network. The coordinator prepares and releases accurate export cargo documents after vessel sailing and responds to customer inquiries. The role helps keep shipping records, customs and manifest submissions, and communications with shippers, forwarders, internal teams, and overseas offices timely and accurate.

What you'll do

• Prepare and release final bills of lading after confirmed vessel sailing
• send documents to shippers and forwarders online or by courier
• handle change-of-destination requests, including return or ship-back matters
• submit required manifests and customs filings
• communicate with internal departments and overseas offices
• guide bond usage and close out in-bond shipments
• assist customers with e-services and web bills of lading
• process original bill-of-lading registrations and requested paperwork.
