What you'll do
- Provide daily oversight of the Outpatient community mental health program and staff to ensure quality, compliance, and direct service benchmarks are met.
- Provide staff supervision to ensure that the care model requirements are met, and that best care is provided each and every encounter.
- Interact with internal and external parties in a professional, timely manner.
- Assure that scheduling and staffing is timely, proactive, cost-effective, and meets the needs of the clients served.
- Provide regularly scheduled supervision to program staff.
- Document supervision in a compliant manner.
- Provide onboarding and initial and ongoing training to program staff.
- Monitor staff work regularly to ensure quality, compliance, and direct service benchmarks are met.
- Provide clinical guidance to staff.
- Review clinical documentation for medical necessity and appropriate treatment recommendations, assuming responsibility as the LPHA when credentialed.
- Recruit/retain high performing staff and ensure high staff performance by holding staff accountable.
- Conduct annual performance reviews.
- Provide direct care for a caseload of clients.
- Assume a leadership role in a clinical crisis situation.
- Meet quality, compliance, and financial targets.
- Participate in applicable trainings, teleconferences, and meetings.
- Prepare reports on activities and work group activities as needed.
- Ensure program meets compliance standards for all documentation and clinical charts.
- Inform manager and director of key components of the program.
- Ensure that individual and program direct service levels are met monthly.
- Hold staff accountable for individual productivity and compliance targets.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to ensure program is meeting quality, compliance, and productivity benchmarks.
- Participate in chart compliance reviews, analyze results, and complete action plan for improvement.
- Act as a liaison and program contact for referral sources, contracting entities, etc.
