The Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) - Initial License Trainee role is an onsite position based in Meridian, NY. as a fixed salary, but ranges from $159,000.00 to $182,000.00 per year during training, supporting the Nine Mile Point Generating Station. This role exists to train and prepare candidates to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor. The incumbent will undergo comprehensive classroom and on-the-job training to obtain an NRC license, eventually supervising licensed reactor activities and bargaining unit operators in the control room.

What you'll do

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training
• successfully complete all phases to obtain an SRO license
• perform job assignments as directed by management including emergency response and outage support.
