Wheelchair Attendant

The Wheelchair Attendant role is onsite in North Canton, OH, with compensation of $12 per hour. The position supports passengers with mobility challenges throughout their airport journey, from curbside arrival through aircraft boarding and deplaning.

What you'll do

• Assist passengers between curbside, check-in, security checkpoints, gate areas, and aircraft boarding or deplaning
• communicate clearly and reassure passengers
• coordinate with dispatchers, gate agents, flight attendants, TSA officers, and airport personnel
• safely operate wheelchairs, including brakes and footrests, on inclines and ramps
• retrieve and return wheelchairs to staging areas
• inspect and sanitize equipment
• follow company, airport, TSA, and DOT policies and safety procedures.
