What you'll do
- Lead legal support for U.S. government contracts, including FAR/DFARS compliance, proposals, negotiation, administration, and disputes
- partner with business development and program teams on government deals
- advise on contract clauses, performance, changes, claims, and terminations
- support regulatory compliance, licensing, and approvals
- build export compliance programs for ITAR and EAR
- advise on international transactions and technology transfers
- develop compliance policies and training
- identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks
- support government stakeholders, auditors, and regulators
- establish templates and playbooks
- manage outside counsel
- mentor legal and compliance staff.
