The CDL A Driver Trainee role is an onsite position based in Ballwin, MO. , though the company offers a competitive pay range of $80,000 to $90,000 per year for qualified drivers post-training, supporting the McLane Company supply chain and distribution team. This role exists to provide hands-on training and coaching to prepare individuals for a full Driver position. Trainees will learn to operate tractor-trailer equipment safely, manage delivery documentation, and assist in the efficient transport and unloading of products for various retail and restaurant customers.

What you'll do

• Maneuver tractor into position to attach trailer
• operate truck in compliance with DOT regulations
• inspect equipment pre/post trip
• use Driver Delivery Handheld (DDH) devices
• maintain driver logs
• assist in unloading trailers
• provide customer service.
