Information Security Analyst II

Job overview

The Information Security Analyst II role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ. Compensation is $95,000–$102,000 per year. The analyst protects systems and data across DBM Global. The analyst monitors and investigates cybersecurity events, coordinates incident response, and supports risk and compliance work, including Sarbanes-Oxley IT general controls. The role also improves detection and response processes and provides practical guidance to Level I analysts and cross-functional partners.

What you'll do

• Monitor security alerts across enterprise systems
• investigate incidents and assess scope and impact
• coordinate containment, eradication, recovery, and remediation
• document evidence and response actions
• operate security technologies including SIEM, EDR, email security, firewalls, identity security, and vulnerability management
• identify detection gaps and recommend improvements
• maintain incident response procedures and playbooks
• perform vulnerability and third-party assessments
• support audits and SOX IT control testing
• review privileged activity
• maintain security policies and metrics
• guide Level I analysts.
