The Project Operations and Operational Excellence Lead role is onsite in South San Francisco, CA, with an expected salary range of $150,000–$165,000 per year. Travel to client sites may be required up to 100%, depending on project demands and client expectations. The role supports a Design & Construction Project Controls and Site Services organization for a major capital program. Syner-G partners with clients to advance biopharma product development and delivery of life-enhancing therapies. The lead improves and standardizes how project teams operate, with documentation and information management as a major workstream. The role establishes practical workflows, governance, and performance measures, coordinates information exchange across stakeholders, and coaches project support personnel to strengthen execution and operational readiness.

What you'll do

• Lead operational excellence, project operations, and process improvement across Design & Construction Project Controls and Site Services
• apply Lean and continuous improvement methods to simplify workflows and improve handoffs
• establish and sustain operating processes, governance routines, documentation standards, metadata practices, and information-management controls
• manage documentation lifecycle practices
• provide functional guidance on Autodesk Forma, Autodesk Construction Cloud, common data environment workflows, and project information management
• coordinate information exchange among engineering firms, contractors, vendors, project controls, commissioning, and site stakeholders
• maintain operating metrics, document registers, transmittals, logs, review cycles, status reporting, and workflow indicators
• partner with Project Controls leadership and the Integrated Delivery Office
• coach document control, project support, and cross-functional personnel.
