What you'll do

• Performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with established professional and departmental standards.
• Operates the CT scan equipment to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients.
• Obtains consent, prepares patients, and explains the procedure to them.
• Assists students and support techs.
• Practices quality patient care.
• Exercises excellent customer service.
• Participates in call and holiday coverage.
• Maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures.
• Participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation.
• Practices radiation safety.

What we're looking for

Education

Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology

Experience
