What you'll do

• Document case histories and perform visual field, pupil, visual acuity, and other screening functions as directed
• obtain eyeglass prescriptions using a lensometer
• perform patient testing such as slit lamp exams, visual fields, color tests, tonometry, OCTs, and fundus photos
• communicate physician instructions to patients
• assist with calls
• maintain patient lanes and equipment
• and follow HIPAA and OSHA guidelines. Some duties depend on assignment and certification.

Why this role
