Echocardiography & Vascular Ultrasound Technician

The Echocardiography & Vascular Ultrasound Technician role is onsite in Pomona, CA; compensation is $41–$47 per hour. The technician supports Akido’s outpatient diagnostic services as the company combines technology with a medical network to expand access to care. The role performs cardiac and vascular imaging and prepares accurate measurements and documentation for physician interpretation. It contributes to timely diagnosis and treatment by maintaining image quality, following clinical and safety standards, and coordinating with physicians, staff, and patients.

What you'll do

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, and Color Flow Doppler imaging
• conduct ordered arterial, venous, carotid, and peripheral vascular studies
• document measurements and findings
• prepare reports and images for physician review
• use EMR and order-entry systems
• maintain equipment, supplies, quality checks, and required credentials
• explain procedures and support patient comfort.

Why this role

Requires current RDCS or RCS and RVT credentials (or ability to obtain RVT within the organization-defined timeframe), plus BLS certification; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
