The Occupational Therapy Assistant is an onsite role based in Pueblo, CO. Compensation is $25.80 - $38.70 per hour, and this position supports the PMC IRF Rehab Services department in their mission to improve lives through rehabilitation. This role exists to treat patients for therapy needs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The assistant implements treatment plans, monitors patient progress, and educates families on adaptive equipment.

What you'll do

• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities.
• Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan.
• Communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the occupational therapist.
• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Assists with patient discharge planning.
