Radiation Therapist - Bemidji, MN - PRN This is an onsite position in Redlake, MN, with a salary range of $36.50 - $49.50 per hour. The therapist utilizes technical knowledge of equipment and expertise in clinical treatment setup, anatomical landmarks, and treatment recording. This role requires effective interaction with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare personnel, ensuring patient sensitivity and confidentiality while adhering to HIPAA standards. The therapist also assesses and reports on the patient's physical and emotional status, accommodating growth and development needs of all client populations.

What you'll do

• Performs daily imaging and delivers daily prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to radiation therapy patients safely and accurately.
• Incorporates technical knowledge of the equipment and expertise of clinical treatment set-up, anatomical landmarks, treatment recording and management during patient care.
• Interacts effectively and accurately with patients and their family members, physicians, healthcare workers, and radiation oncology department personnel.
• Practices patient sensitivity and confidentiality at all times with adherence to HIPAA compliance standards.
• Develops an understanding of the patient's physical and emotional status and reports that to the appropriate staff.
• Works with growth and development needs of all client populations.

Completion of radiation therapy course from an approved school or accredited program.
