Control Mechanic

The Control Mechanic role is an onsite position based in Scotland, CT, with compensation ranging from $35 to $40 per hour. This role supports the maintenance and engineering team at Uline’s newest warehouse facility in Connecticut. This role exists to ensure the effective operation of automated warehouse conveyors and systems. The Control Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with various operational teams to maintain peak facility performance.

What you'll do

• Maintain and monitor warehouse automated conveyors and systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment including forklifts.
• Work closely with Engineering, Warehouse Administration, Facilities and Operational teams to ensure equipment runs effectively.
• Assist with parts management, inspections, repairs and remote troubleshooting.
• Apply hands-on expertise across a range of material handling systems.
