The Quality Assurance Lab Assistant — Day Shift role is onsite in Nampa, ID, with a 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. schedule. Pay is $17 per hour. HB Specialty Foods aims to develop and deliver food solutions for people and the planet. The role tests products against specifications and reports results promptly, supporting the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams’ food safety, quality, and continuous-improvement work.

What you'll do

• Prepare and test product samples to SOPs for color, aroma, viscosity, moisture, salt, and microbiological measures
• conduct environmental and water testing
• prepare samples for third-party testing
• analyze, report, and record results
• maintain lab cleanliness, equipment sanitation, calibration records, proficiency, inventory, and labels
• review production and quality-control documentation.
