Lead Infant Teacher

The Lead Infant Teacher role is onsite in McKinney, TX, with pay of $15–$16 per hour. The Learning Experience is hiring a teacher to lead a classroom and support infants’ learning and development. The teacher provides consistent early childhood education by implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum, maintaining a safe and engaging classroom, and supporting children’s development and daily care. The role also guides Assistant Teachers and builds communication and working relationships with families and the teaching team.

What you'll do

• Plan age-appropriate learning and play experiences
• support infants’ social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development
• organize classroom activities and routines
• maintain lesson plans, observations, assessments, and records
• communicate with families
• guide and support Assistant Teachers
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• follow licensing, health, safety, supervision, and classroom-ratio requirements
• support daily care needs including feeding and diapering as appropriate.
