Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide role is full-time and onsite in Nassawadox, VA. Compensation is $15–$16 per hour. Nassawadox Rehabilitation and Nursing is a rehabilitation and nursing facility; the role supports meal service for residents. The aide assists with food preparation and serving while maintaining clean, sanitary kitchen and dining areas. Accurate tray setup, meal delivery, dishwashing, and supply support help ensure residents receive meals that reflect menu and diet preferences and that food-service areas remain ready for service.

What you'll do

• Assist with preparing and serving meals and snacks
• check trays for menu and diet preferences and accuracy
• set up trays and deliver meals to residents
• prepare serving lines and place food on general and modified diet trays as directed
• deliver and return food carts
• collect soiled trays and utensils
• wash and sanitize dishes and equipment
• clean kitchen and dining areas
• stock food and supplies
• assist with inventory and report hazards or incidents.

Why this role
