What you'll do

• Answer patient calls, emails, and Teams messages
• explain billing matters
• collect payments and help resolve barriers
• review Sliding Fee Discount Program determinations and verify household size, income documentation, and discount tier
• document reviews, correct errors, and maintain exception reports
• escalate unresolved discrepancies to the Revenue Cycle Manager
• train front desk staff
• provide accounts receivable backup, including claims follow-up, payment posting, adjustments, denials, appeals, reports, and account records.
