Event Strategy Manager

The Event Strategy Manager role is onsite in Indianapolis, IN; compensation is not specified. The position supports Shepard’s strategic accounts by turning audience research, event insights, and client objectives into event strategies and experience designs. The manager develops attendee journeys, themes, sponsorship activations, and other concepts, then works across sales, account production, concept design, marketing, and production teams to carry approved ideas through execution. The role also contributes to proposals and evaluates event outcomes to improve future experiences.

What you'll do

• Support creative strategy for assigned strategic accounts
• translate data, customer research, and success plans into experience concepts
• analyze audience needs, market trends, survey data, and event metrics
• develop themes, attendee journey maps, floor-plan concepts, networking ideas, activations, and technology integrations
• shape measurable sponsorship activations
• present concepts and storyboards
• coordinate deliverables and deadlines
• contribute to RFPs, pitches, and proposals
• define success metrics and synthesize attendee and exhibitor feedback.
