What you'll do

• Direct and oversee daily unit activities on the assigned shift and provide a modified patient-care assignment as applicable
• make patient assignments
• review discharges and length of stay
• round with physicians and surgeons
• coordinate bed assignments and patient flow
• round on patients to assess care quality and address concerns
• oversee or perform the nursing process
• coordinate interdisciplinary communication and documentation
• support staffing and resource planning, staff development, performance improvement, and evidence-based practice.
