What you'll do

• Set up and unload wastewater, sludge, or effluent from septic trucks
• inspect for obstructions
• adjust valves and monitor gauges and flow meters
• collect septic samples and process pH samples
• record data and prepare reports
• inspect samples for prohibited material
• follow safety and disposal requirements
• assist with headworks operation and cleaning
• perform routine preventive maintenance
• interact professionally with haulers, contractors, and vendors.
