The Structural Engineer-Diver role is hybrid in Seattle, WA. The expected total compensation range is $90,000–$160,000, including performance-based bonuses. The position supports KPFF’s Special Projects Division, which works on civil, structural, mechanical, waterfront, and other infrastructure projects. The role combines structural engineering with certified diving work to support inspection and design for marine and waterfront infrastructure. It contributes technical and project-management expertise to projects such as ports, ferry terminals, shipyards, marinas, and municipal structures.

Why this role

Requires a BS in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, at least two years of underwater and topside marine infrastructure inspection experience, EIT, current ADCI certification, and ability to operate on SCUBA and surface-supplied air. PE or SE, an MS, and technical report writing experience are preferred. Travel is required.
