The role integrates AI into mission-critical software, helps teams use generative AI responsibly and effectively, and supports reliable, secure delivery for defense systems.

What you'll do

• Serve as the organization’s expert on AI, generative AI, large language models, machine learning, and emerging capabilities
• lead AI integration into complex defense software and mission-critical systems
• define AI-augmented engineering standards and practices
• develop data-processing and natural-language-processing pipelines, dashboards, and proofs of concept
• evaluate AI developer tools
• use generative AI in software workflows
• mentor engineering teams
• identify lifecycle opportunities for AI and automation.
