Shop Manager, Equipment and Fleet Maintenance

The Shop Manager role is onsite in Cicero, NY. Pay is $22–$30 per hour. The position supports J and R Property Services’ property-maintenance operations by keeping its equipment and vehicle fleet dependable. The manager diagnoses and repairs heavy and compact equipment, small engines, and light- and medium-duty trucks. Coordinating repair priorities, parts, inventory, and shop safety helps reduce downtime and keep crews equipped across seasons.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy and compact equipment, including tractors, loaders, and skid steers
• repair small engines and commercial tools
• diagnose and repair trucks, including brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• use computer-based diagnostic tools
• maintain an organized and safe shop
• order parts and track inventory
• coordinate repair schedules with managers and crew leaders.
