Dance, Cheer, and Pom Instructor

The Dance, Cheer, and Pom Instructor role is onsite in Joliet, IL, with compensation of $15–$20 per hour. The instructor reports to the Superintendent of Recreation and teaches dance, cheer, and pom participants.

What you'll do

• Prepare lesson plans and teach up to 14 students per class
• choreograph routines
• supervise children during arrival, dismissal, and classes
• take attendance
• select age-appropriate music
• measure for costumes and complete order forms
• assist with recitals and performances
• communicate with participants and parents
• and maintain a safe learning environment.
