Special Education Teacher – Kindergarten–Grade 2

The Special Education Teacher – Kindergarten–Grade 2 role is onsite in Chesterland, OH. Compensation is $45–$55 per hour. The role supports students’ educational progress through individualized instruction and a safe, productive classroom environment.

What you'll do

• Create and execute individualized education plans
• communicate student progress and challenges with staff and families
• prepare lesson plans for administrator approval
• participate in scheduled IEP meetings
• use individualized reinforcement techniques
• invite family participation
• prepare quarterly progress reports
• confer with onsite therapists about behavioral issues
• maintain a safe classroom.
