Environmental Compliance Manager

The Environmental Compliance Manager role is onsite in Mojave, CA, with regular field work and travel to corporate offices and construction and operating facilities. The posted annual compensation range is $120,000–$140,000, plus bonus. Terra-Gen develops and operates utility-scale renewable energy projects to provide clean energy. The manager leads environmental compliance across pre-construction, construction, and operating facilities, supervising the compliance team and coordinating with internal groups, consultants, financing parties, and regulators. The role helps maintain permit compliance, address risks and corrective actions, and support project financing through organized environmental records and due diligence.

What you'll do

• Supervise the Environmental Compliance team and Avian Field Supervisor
• direct compliance support, inspections, reporting, corrective actions, and field documentation
• oversee programs covering air quality, hazardous materials and waste, water quality, stormwater, spill prevention, and wildlife
• review compliance records and regulatory submissions
• coordinate responses to incidents and agency inspections
• maintain permit inventories and compliance records
• lead training and field procedures
• support environmental due diligence and project financing
• travel to offices and facilities, including overnight travel.
