The supervisor leads nursing services during the assigned shift, supporting staff and coordinating daily operations to help ensure safe, high-quality, compassionate resident care. The role works closely with the Director of Nursing on clinical, staffing, and operational updates.

What you'll do

• Oversee nursing services and resident care during the assigned shift
• supervise and support nursing and nursing assistant staff
• ensure compliance with regulations and facility policies
• make staff assignments based on resident and staffing needs
• monitor resident care and documentation
• ensure medications, supplies, and equipment are available
• assist with assessments and care planning
• address staff, resident, and family concerns
• promote staff education and teamwork
• communicate clinical and staffing updates to the Director of Nursing.
