What you'll do

• Advise clients on tax planning
• manage and review federal and state returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, estates, and other entities
• oversee engagement workflow, deadlines, deliverables, and documentation
• serve as a client contact
• conduct tax research and communicate findings
• respond to tax notices and audits
• review workpapers and financial deliverables
• supervise, train, and mentor staff
• participate in client meetings and business development.

Why this role

Requires an active CPA or Enrolled Agent license, a bachelor’s degree in accounting with tax emphasis, at least six years of broad tax experience including individual and trust taxation, and prior public accounting supervisory experience. Occasional client-site travel may be required; extended hours during peak tax periods.
