The Home Health and Hospice Nurse and Clinician Residency Program Coordinator role is based at one of the organization’s locations in Rutland, Bennington, Manchester or St. Albans, Vermont; pay is $76,830–$107,562 per year. VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region houses the role, which supports a statewide nurse residency initiative funded through the Rural Health Transformation Fund. The coordinator develops and evaluates education and onboarding resources for new home health and hospice nurses, builds partnerships and supports residents and preceptors. The role contributes to recruitment, development and retention of Vermont’s home-based care workforce.

What you'll do

• Develop, implement and evaluate clinical education and residency resources
• create welcome packets, onboarding materials and program guides
• assess educational needs and apply adult-learning principles
• develop marketing materials
• build relationships with educational institutions and professional organizations
• coordinate peer support and participant check-ins
• collect workforce data
• provide program updates
• assist with grant tracking and state reporting.
