What you'll do

• Interpret blueprints to fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products
• measure and lay out materials
• fasten joints and seams using solder, welds, caulk, bolts, and clips
• install pipes, HVAC ducts, flashings, gutters, and furnace casings
• select sheet metal type and gauge
• use hand and power tools to finish metal surfaces
• prioritize jobsite safety.
