Payroll Assistant

The Payroll Assistant role is onsite in Cleveland, OH. Pay is $19–$20 per hour. The position supports Archway Management’s payroll operations, including processing payroll for a workforce of more than 900 employees. Working under the direct supervision of the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Assistant maintains payroll records, processes employee pay-related changes, and responds to payroll questions. The role helps ensure accurate, timely payroll processing while protecting confidential information and supporting multi-state payroll operations.

What you'll do

• Collect, calculate, and enter payroll data
• record hours and process time records
• maintain payroll control records
• issue and record pay adjustments
• assist with high-volume payroll processing for 900+ employees
• maintain multi-state payroll resources
• process changes involving direct deposit, deductions, child support, garnishments, and wage verifications
• back up the Payroll Supervisor and prepare paychecks for distribution
• answer payroll questions
• handle confidential information
• assist with special projects as directed.
