Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager role is onsite in Wilmington, NC. Pay is $15–$17 per hour. The position supports a high-energy convenience store and its Store Manager. The assistant manager helps keep store operations covered and running smoothly by serving customers, supporting and coaching staff, managing inventory and schedules, and stepping in as acting manager when the Store Manager is away.

What you'll do

• Support daily store operations
• run the register and assist customers
• coach team members on upselling
• help hire, train, and lead staff
• act as manager when the Store Manager is off
• handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising
• maintain store and exterior cleanliness
• create schedules
• handle cash and deposits
• oversee store financials.
