What you'll do

• Collect and label specimens for routine and special procedures
• perform phlebotomy techniques and collect blood, urine, toxicology, and microbiological specimens according to procedures
• accession specimens in the receiving area
• ensure timely transport and distribution to laboratory sections
• coordinate transport with sectional personnel when workloads prevent direct delivery.
