What you'll do

• Supervise Credentialing Specialists
• manage physician applications for plans and hospital privileges
• maintain confidential physician files and required documentation
• coordinate professional license renewals and track continuing medical education
• maintain Medicare and Medicaid PECOS enrollment
• monitor renewal deadlines
• communicate deficiencies that could affect reimbursement
• coordinate plan submissions with Administration and Revenue Cycle Management
• respond to credentialing inquiries
• maintain activity logs
• notify departments of approvals
• work with Billing on claim rejections and authorization denials
• meet production and quality standards
• comply with HIPAA and practice policies.
