The Crew Chief / Field Leader – Restoration & Reconstruction role is onsite in Valley Stream, NY, serving Nassau County and Long Island. Pay is $20–$30 per hour. The position supports ServiceMaster by GBS restoration and reconstruction work, including emergency response. The role leads and works alongside a field crew, taking ownership of job sites and coordinating hands-on restoration, demolition, and reconstruction work. It helps keep projects safe, organized, efficient, and aligned with quality expectations while communicating progress to customers, project managers, and teammates.

What you'll do

• Lead and work alongside a restoration crew
• take ownership of assigned job sites
• perform restoration, demolition, and reconstruction work
• learn water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, and reconstruction
• maintain efficient, high-quality work
• communicate with customers, project managers, and team members
• document job progress
• participate in the defined on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
