Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide role is onsite in Lowell, MA, with a 7 a.m.–3 p.m. schedule, 40 hours per week, and every other weekend. Pay is $16 per hour, paid weekly. Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center provides rehabilitation and health care services to residents. The Dietary Aide supports resident meal service by following physician-ordered therapeutic diet cards and ensuring food is served safely, attractively, and on time. The role also helps maintain nourishment stations and dining areas, supports meal-service timing, and follows sanitation and storage procedures.

What you'll do

• Follow physician-ordered therapeutic diet cards
• ensure food and beverages are served at proper temperatures and delivered on time
• maintain food presentation
• follow nourishment lists and stock nourishment stations
• assist the cook with meal-serving times
• follow sanitation and storage procedures
• maintain supplies, equipment, and dining-service areas.
