The Catering Line Cook role is onsite in Norfolk, VA, at $18–$20 per hour. The cook supports Groovin’ Gourmets, the catering division of Trolley Hospitality Companies, which serves corporate functions, weddings, and social events. The role contributes to catering production by preparing ingredients and dishes in a scratch kitchen, maintaining clean and functional work areas, and following food safety and storage practices. Occasional event work may include plating food and working action stations.

What you'll do

• Wash, chop, cut, weigh, and mix ingredients
• garnish finished dishes
• clean, set up, and break down kitchen equipment and work areas
• cover, label, and date food products and store them safely
• wash cookware and utensils as needed
• occasionally plate food and work action stations at events.
