What you'll do

• Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, contracts, commercial terms, and sourcing agreements
• evaluate supplier price increases and pursue reductions and savings
• develop negotiation strategies using business requirements, market conditions, cost information, and supplier data
• source and negotiate component packages
• manage supplier concerns and priorities through resolution
• review proposals and assess commercial risks and value
• analyze data in Excel and present recommendations in PowerPoint
• mentor buyers and purchasing team members
• travel to supplier facilities as required.
