What you'll do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild presses and manufacturing equipment
• diagnose mechanical problems
• implement equipment modifications and reliability improvements
• coordinate with vendors and manufacturers
• determine whether repairs are completed in-house or outsourced
• maintain mechanical-parts inventory
• design, machine, weld, and fabricate components
• operate machine-shop equipment
• assist with facility maintenance
• respond to equipment issues during assigned shift hours.
