What you'll do

• Build relationships with children and families to assess safety
• investigate abuse and neglect reports and conduct interviews
• assess risks and recommend protective actions
• develop safety plans
• coordinate in-home services and community resources
• work with law enforcement, schools, medical providers and agencies
• arrange placements, visits and transportation
• manage and evaluate case plans
• support children in placement and permanency
• respond to crises
• prepare court reports and maintain case documentation
• complete required training.
