Project Manager – Medical Devices

Job overview

The Project Manager – Medical Devices role is onsite in Minnetonka, MN, with compensation of $47.89–$51.09 per hour. The role works under the Project Management Office (PMO) and supports projects for a medical devices and healthcare company. The Project Manager coordinates project planning and execution so initiatives meet scope, schedule, budget, and strategic objectives. The role leads project phases, tracks milestones and performance, manages risks and resources, and supports consistent PMO governance and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Manage project plans, configuration planning and execution, testing and validation, and go-live planning and support
• lead scope, requirements, technical development, testing, validation, communications, risk, reporting, budget, and resource management
• maintain the Master Project Plan and Schedule
• track milestones, metrics, and budget performance
• document project reviews
• mitigate and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, and conflicts
• coordinate change management
• support portfolio processes, project tools, and cross-functional initiatives.

Why this role

Minimum four years of related experience and significant manufacturing operations experience required. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required; a master's degree or MBA is preferred. Project management and Six Sigma/Lean Sigma certifications are strongly preferred.
