• Accurately assesses residents' health status, educational, and environmental needs.
• Develops and revises dynamic care plans through an interdisciplinary approach.
• Documents assessments and care plans.
• Identifies and implements nursing interventions.
• Uses critical thinking for residents' change in condition.
• Notifies physicians timely.
• Handles crisis situations professionally.
• Monitors resident care effectiveness.
• Participates in QAPI process.
• Assists with resident care and call lights.
• Completes continuing education.
• Upholds nursing best practices.
• Must be able to work at all Bethesda Health Group locations.

What we're looking for

Education

Education from an accredited school of nursing that results in becoming a registered nurse

Experience

Education from an accredited school of nursing that results in becoming a registered nurse. Current RN license in Missouri & Illinois required. Current CPR/AED certification required. Long-term care and rehab experience required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Willing to travel and work at all Bethesda communities. Must possess critical thinking skills. Excellent communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift heavy objects. Ability to transfer and move patients. Ability to push and pull equipment. Manual dexterity, coordination and skillful use of hands. Visual acuity. Ability to physically perform necessary documentation.
