CNC Machine Operator

Job overview

Compensation is $28–$40 per hour. The CNC Machine Operator is an onsite position based in Springfield, MA. This role exists to operate multi-axis CNC milling equipment to produce high-precision aerospace components. The operator ensures quality standards are met while working collaboratively with the machining, quality, and engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings.
• Perform machine setups as needed, including tooling changes, fixture installation, offsets, and first-piece runs.
• Complete first-piece and in-process inspections to verify dimensional and quality requirements.
• Use precision measuring equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Make routine adjustments and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Accurately document production and machining information.
