Production and Industrial Automation Technician

The Production and Industrial Automation Technician role is onsite in Rochester, NY. Compensation is $34.50 per hour. The technician maintains plant automated machinery and equipment under the supervision of the Assistant Supervisor Automation. The role helps keep production equipment operating effectively through maintenance, calibration, repairs, and validation. It also supports safe, orderly operations and continuous improvement activities.

What you'll do

• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance
• adjust and calibrate automated equipment
• conduct equipment validation
• complete work forms
• maintain orderly and clean work areas and tools
• disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical devices
• operate industrial machining equipment to fabricate and repair parts
• report out-of-standard performance and safety or environmental hazards
• participate in training, safety talks, and continuous improvement activities.

Why this role
