Working alongside the Lead Teacher, the assistant helps create a structured, nurturing classroom and supports students’ academic, social, emotional, and independence skills as they prepare for kindergarten.

What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Teacher with daily lessons and classroom activities
• support small-group and individual learning
• help with routines, transitions, meals, rest periods, and outdoor play
• provide positive guidance and redirection
• actively supervise students
• encourage independence and social-emotional development
• build relationships with students, families, and team members
• maintain an organized classroom
• participate in training and professional development.
