Maintenance Custodian

The Maintenance Custodian role is onsite in Virginia Beach, VA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Pay is $17–$19 per hour. The position supports facilities and maintenance at a manufacturing facility. The custodian maintains cleanliness, safety, and the appearance of the facility and surrounding property while assisting with preventative maintenance and minor repairs. The work supports safe facility operations and includes indoor and outdoor tasks around manufacturing equipment.

What you'll do

• Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, machining chips, and debris
• operate industrial recycling equipment
• clean work areas
• maintain exterior grounds and rooftop drains
• perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• assist with facility and grounds projects
• complete minor electrical and plumbing repairs
• change lightbulbs
• operate a forklift
• use lifts to work at heights
• and support safety and security procedures.
