The Surveyor role is onsite in San Antonio, TX, with compensation of $20–$24 per hour. E-Z Bel Construction works on civil and commercial projects including street reconstruction, underground utilities, concrete work, bridges, and traffic signals.

What you'll do

• Perform field engineering and surveying work, operate and maintain Trimble GPS units, total stations, and optical levels, and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Establish construction lines and grades, maintain records and engineering notes, create and process CAD files, perform quantity take-offs and as-built documentation, and coordinate with inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Supervise, train, and mentor Junior Surveyors and Rodmen.

Why this role

Requires 5+ years of surveying experience and willingness to travel within Texas as needed, including possible overnight or out-of-town stays. A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree in engineering or surveying is preferred.
